Rikki Clarke Cricket Academy offers a range of professional cricket coaching from age 5 years and upwards.

Rikki Clarke Cricket Academy was created to offer fun and enjoyable cricket coaching sessions with a Professional Coaching philosophy.

Our aim is to develop all cricketers with basic and advanced skillsets allowing them to improve under our guidance.

The coaching we offer varies from Cricket Camps to One-to-One sessions.

We also provide School Coaching and Club Cricket Coaching.

There is also an opportunity to experience Masterclass sessions with Rikki Clarke himself.

At Rikki Clarke Cricket Academy we will also be looking to entertain future Masterclasses with past and present greats of the game from County Cricket and International Cricket.

COACHING CAMPS

Coaching camps focus on technical cricket skills across all areas of the game, as well as including a number of fun cricket-based activities, game play and competitions!

Our Masterclasses will allow you to talk to former first-class and international cricketers  to get insights and specialist skills from greats of the game. 

About Rikki Clarke

Rikki passes on the passion he has for the game to the next generation of cricketer through his coaching

From The Beginning

From a very early age Rikki had a passion for cricket and would always be at his local cricket club. You could say that pretty much seven days a week he would have a bat or ball in his hands.

Youth Cricketer

After playing many age groups for his local cricket team Rikki was then recommended by his coaches to Surrey for a trial at under nines and it went very well which then saw him play for the Surrey Youth team every season from under nines to under nineteen level.

Professional Cricketer

Rikki signed as a Professional Cricketer in March 2000 for Surrey CCC and has seen him recently retire from the professional game with an incredible 22 seasons to his name. He played 680 Professional matches with over 17,944 career runs and 805 career wickets. He also has an incredible 591 professional career catches to his name. He represented England 22 times and in 2018 was one of four nominations for the PCA Players Player of the Year. Rikki also holds a World Record for most catches (7) taken by an outfielder in a single innings in First Class Cricket. After his retirement Rikki received an honorary life membership to Surrey CCC which sees him join one of three recipients to receive this honour in the clubs entire history.

We were looking for a top cricket coach to develop our two boys, (Surrey U13 & U10) after a period, when their skills had plateaued. Will (U13) has been playing county cricket since the age of nine. After starting one-to-one's over the winter, Rikki has encouraged and helped Will to adopt a more dynamic and positive approach that he's taken his game to a new level. This season Rikki worked with Will on all aspects of his game from small tweaks to his stance, to free up his range of shots, tips on how to play spin, and against pace to increase his range of options and exposing him to drills that were more challenging than anything he would face in his age group. Will loves the sessions with Rikki and learning from a Pro with amazing passion for the game. We would both recommend him to any talented cricketer who wants to take their game to the next level!

My son has attended the holiday camps every holiday, simply because he loves it. The coaches are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, supportive, and passionate. The day is planned out well and there is a great balance between focuses learning, but having fun. Whatever the weather, the camp continues to run productively. My other son, who is autistic, also attended a camp and he was well looked after and integrated into the coaching with ease and understanding and the staff were extremely supportive and patient, I would highly recommend the Rikki Clarke Cricket Academy camps and coaching. I know my son is already looking forward to the next summer camp in July.

When my son was released from the Surrey performance squad, I was looking for something different to help him. Rikki's academy has improved Isaac technically and transformed him as a player. Specifically, he's enjoyed the simple way technique changes are introduced. He has also commented on how all the other coaches are really good too. My view is that kids attending the academy are very fortunate indeed.

My son and daughter both attended the academy for camps, one-to-one's and the elite academy. The coaches are engaging ,inspiring and teach and improve skills whilst having fun! The bowling, fielding and batting drills are taught as games. Participating in the academy, coaching has boosted their confidence to achieve at school, club and district cricket. I would highly recommend the Rikki Clarke Cricket Academy.

My 11 year old son has attended 3 three-day camps and bowling master classes with the Rikki Clarke Cricket Academy so far, and is already booked on another in the summer. A huge fan of the sport, playing both at school and club level, he has enjoyed every minute improving his skills, building his confidence, but most of all, having fun. The coaching team are excellent and he returns from each camp full of yet more enthusiasm and passion for the game. Our nine-year-old daughter also took part in the last camp for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have no doubt she'll will be back for more too.
